This is the written instruction the work runs on. It is the standard data protection step for this kind of work, and it is short on purpose. Read it, and confirm it at the bottom.

1. I am instructing you on behalf of the organisation named above, and I am authorised to give this instruction.
2. The file I will send you contains the number of business contact records stated above, which is the whole file as it stands and is not more than five thousand records. It holds names, business email addresses, job titles, employers, and business telephone or mobile numbers for people in a professional capacity. It contains no special category data and no criminal offence data.

Please check the file for duplicate and conflicting records, check whether the business email addresses are deliverable, check whether the telephone numbers are live mobile numbers, and for up to two thousand of the records check whether the people are still in the role and organisation the file says they are. Tell me the results on a call. Please do not send me a file back.

5. Retention: this is a free check, so you run it in a working account created for it, and that account and everything in it is deleted automatically seven days after you create it, whether or not the check has finished and whether or not I ask.
6. I confirm I have a lawful basis for this processing and the right to share this file with you for this purpose. I accept the Datuma Data Processing Terms, version 1.0, at datuma.co.uk/processing-terms/. The confirmation email restates the version and the link, and my reply to that email is the record of my acceptance.

Here is exactly what happens. You pick a slot. We run your file by hand the working day before the call. On the call you see your own rows on the screen, and we walk you through three numbers: cleared, exceptions, and could not check. You keep a one page summary, including a small sample of your own rows worked in full. Nothing runs until your call is booked, and everything we hold is deleted automatically seven days after we set up the working account, whether or not we speak.

Give us two or three times that would work. Alasdair Carter confirms one of them by reply the same working day, and that reply is what books the call.
